Frequently Asked Questions
What is an accumulator bet?
An accumulator (acca or parlay) combines multiple selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the bet to pay out. The odds are multiplied together, creating much higher potential returns than individual bets.
How are accumulator odds calculated?
Multiply the decimal odds of each selection together. Example: 1.50 x 2.00 x 1.80 = 5.40 combined odds. For a KES 100 stake, the return would be KES 540.
What is an each-way accumulator?
Each-way splits your bet into two: one to win and one to place (usually top 3). Place odds are typically 1/4 or 1/5 of the win odds. It costs double the stake but provides a safety net if selections place but do not win.
How many selections should I put in an accumulator?
For the best balance of risk and reward, limit accumulators to 3-5 selections. Each added selection increases potential payout but also dramatically increases the chance of losing.
